About this event
Join us at a trial site to view and discuss results from the pasture dieback trials. Pasture dieback continues to cause major feed losses across Australia, creating a need for practical management strategies to help producers maintain feed supply and reduce production impacts. While longer-term solutions are still being pursued, field trials established five years ago have provided insights into approaches that may improve pasture performance and resilience in dieback-affected areas. Sharing these results helps to support informed management decisions. Complimentary beverages will be provided. Please bring a chair and a hat. Topics will include Management of pasture dieback – best bets Walkthrough of trials – results five years after establishment Producer experiences with dieback Role and biology of mealybug in dieback How to identify and monitor for mealybug https://ahr.com.au/news-events-1/pasture-dieback-trials-field-day-april-2026?utm_source=Applied+Horticultural+Research+Communications&utm_campaign=518c8d4312-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2025_02_24_04_50_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_-5caaaa3725-509853543&mc_cid=518c8d4312&mc_eid=e95a098f78
